Donate Items to Support the 2019 Point-In-Time Count

Thank you for your interest and investment in wanting to support those experiencing homelessness through this effort. Help contracted non-profit provider City Net reach their goal of 5,000 hygiene kits, which will be distributed during the 2019 Point In Time to survey participants. If you are interested in learning more about this project or other donation needs, visit www.citynet.org.

Write a Letter of Compassion for a neighbor experiencing homelessness!

Write an encouraging and uplifting card to go inside each of the hygiene kits made. 2019 Point In Time volunteers will pass them out to those that are experiencing homelessness in Orange County.

Make your cards creative and simple. Construction paper comes in handy with colorful pens, ribbons, and stickers. Index or postcard size notes are the best. Make it personal by signing your first name only at the end of the message!

Here are some examples of what to write:

“NEVER FORGET HOW SPECIAL YOU ARE”
“YOUR SMILE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD”
”YOU ARE THOUGHT AND CARED ABOUT”
”YOU ARE LOVED”

We suggest that you keep letters generic for men, women, and people of all faiths. When preparing to write the letters, place your heart in a position, which you most likely would be in if you were uplifting a friend. Take a picture of the letter writing process and share reflections by tagging @EveryoneCountsOC and using the hashtag #EveryoneCountsOC2019

The Letters of Compassion can be dropped off with contracted provider City Net
Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
From Jan 7–11 Info@EveryoneCountsOC.org to coordinate.
