The Point In Time is a biennial count of people experiencing homelessness on a given night during the last ten days in January. The count provides vital information that helps the County better understand homelessness in the community and guides the way the County and its partners respond to homelessness in Orange County. Orange County will be conducting the 2019 Point In Time Count in January 23 – 24.

In preparation for the 2019 Point In Time count and on January 23 - 25, volunteers are needed in the following areas in order to have a successful 2019 Point In Time count: Team Captains, Field Surveyors, Deployment Center Support, Videographers and Photographers. Volunteer opportunities are available in early morning and late evening. Sign up to volunteer and help shape homelessness services in Orange County for the next several years!

Registering to volunteer will take less than 5 minutes. Follow-up instructions on training materials, dates and times will be provided via email.

You can help ensure that Everyone In Orange County is counted during the 2019 Point In Time Count and Survey by spreading the word about the event through your social media networks.

Additionally, City Net is asking for donations of hygiene kits, which will be distributed during the 2019 Point In Time to survey participants.
